The Electric Utility regularly trims trees and hires Contractors to maintain adequate clearances between electric lines and trees. Trimming tree limbs is essential in providing dependable electric service with few interruptions.
If you plan to plant trees think about the power line above you or below you.
Before you plan to dig in unfamilar ground, please check for underground line locations.
If tree limbs are interfering with power lines or you want information on underground line locations, please contact the Electric Service Department or call 512-398-6117.
