In October each year. A unique opportunity to enjoy food and conversation with featured authors and artists.

The City of Lockhart celebrates the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday
with the traditional march starting at 11am with the celebration
then continuing to Cedar Hall.
Cinco De Mayo
An annual festival where Lockhart celebrates the victory at the "Batalla de Puebla." The festival includes, crafts booths, great food, live entertainment and much more!
Chisholm Trail Roundup
One of Lockhart's biggest annual events! Chisholm Trail Roundup is held on the second weekend of June. Designed for the entire family, the Chisholm Trail Roundup consists of music, dances, auctions, various contests, rodeos, a carnival, and a countywide parade. The second weekend in June-Lockhart City Park.
Lockhart's Annual Juneteenth Celebration
Juneteenth Celebration Lockhart celebrates the day that marks the anniversary of the date Texas slaves were freed, the third Saturday in June.
Lockhart's Fourth of July Family Picnic
Lockhart's Fourth of July Family Picnic is held every July 4th at the City Park. Family and friends visit, while enjoying great food, fun activities, sky diver show, and a spectacular fireworks display!
National Night Out
National Night Out - Neighborhoods throughout the City take place in the National Night Out festivities. National Night Out Block Parties are held annually on the first Tuesday in August.
Diez Y Seis
Lockhart's annual festival celebrating the declaration of Mexico's Independence from Spain is held on the second weekend of September. A large variety of events are included such as live entertainment, and an art show at the library. Residents also enjoyed browsing many booths with a large variety of items to purchase,while enjoying a huge array of food available.
A Dickens Christmas
A full day of activities is provided every year the first Saturday of December at the annual "A Dickens' Christmas in Lockhart" at the Dr. Eugene Clark Library located at 217 S. Main and Prairie Lea Streets.
