| | Lockhart's Industrial Park Open for Business!
The MLK Industrial Boulevard East is a reality, and the Lockhart Industrial Park II is open. After four years of planning, writing grants, and accumulating matching funds the road is built. The City Council, Lockhart EDC, and City Staff are ready to cut the ribbon and open the road and the Lockhart Industrial Park II for business.
This was a community-wide effort to acquire the grants with the participation of the City, County, local businesses, and citizens supporting the project. For the Board of Directors of the Lockhart Economic Development Corporation it has been a four-year process to acquire the funds to support the in-kind work of the City in order to make the project happen.
For additional information about the new business park please contact Sandra Mauldin by phone at City Hall 398-3461 ext. 233 or by e-mail at
