Chisholm Trail Roundup

Chisholm Trail is Lockhart's biggest annual festival! The second weekend of June. This is a major tourism event for the Lockhart Chamber of Commerce and the City of Lockhart. The event is attended by 30,000+ people.

During the entire the event are different types of music with popular bands and dances on both Friday and Saturday nights. The Chisholm Trail Round-up Queen is crowned Thursday night and an "Awesome Auction" is held the same night. A "Grand Parade" is held Saturday morning that attracts entrees from many of the surrounding counties. The "shoot-out" Barbecue Championship Cook-Off is held on Saturday as well, when the winner is also announced. Kiawanis Rodeo takes place both Friday and Saturday nights.

Come join us for the festival's hat toss, horseshoe pitch, fiddling contest, golf tournment, catfish roundup, great food, entertainment, and much more! There activities for both adults and children throughout the event.

The City of Lockhart co-sponsors this event with the Lockhart Chamber of Commerce.
