Located at 222 Airport Road, the Lockhart Municipal Airport serves Lockhart and Caldwell County and is owned by the City Of Lockhart. Some of the aviation activities that take place at Lockhart Municipal Airport on a regular basis include flight instruction, pipeline patrol, military training, and recreational flying. The airport is also used for aerial application to crops by the Texas Boll Weevil Foundation.
Lockhart Municipal Airport sponsors several community based programs, including local school field trips, monthly fly-ins, and aviation scavenger hunts. The airport frequently visited by pilots from all over Texas who fly to Lockhart for our famous barbecue.

The parcels owned by the City are obligated forever to be made available to aviation-related businesses and cannot be sold, but may be leased. Certain additional restrictions may apply due to FAA regulations. Transportation access to the airport is provided by U.S. Hwy 183.
