If your company is considering a new location, we would like you to come look at Lockhart, Texas. We have big city proximity with the small town luxury, and we are open for business.

We are located about 30 miles south of Austin and 60 miles northeast of San Antonio. We have small town quality of life (estimated population 13,446), two industrial parks, job training, productive labor supply, and state and local incentives. We are growing and we are eager to attract new industry.

Our location is on the eastern edge of the fast growing central Texas Austin-San Antonio Corridor. Lockhart is just 17 miles from I-35 and 17 miles from I-10. Lockhart is only approximately 20 minutes from Austin Bergstrom International Airport via US-183 or SH 130 Tollway.

A number of colleges and universities are within 30 miles including the University of Texas at Austin, Texas State University, Austin Community College, and St. Edwards University. Several of these colleges specialize in tailoring training programs to fit the needs of local industry.

You may also contact us to find out how you can utilize the work program at the Lockhart's MTC Group Work Program Facility. The MTC Group has 1,000 female inmates available to work in a manufacturing center on-site. MTC Group is a contractor to the Texas Department of Corrections.
