  • Permit Application
    All projects require a completed Permit Information Form , link below.  A Survey or Site Plan must be submitted along with the Permit Information Form for all projects that require one.  Documents can be submitted in person or by email to permits@lockhart-tx.org.

    CALL TEXAS811 BEFORE YOU DIG! 
    Planning to do outdoor work that involves digging such as installing a fence, building a deck or shed, etc?  Call Texas811: dial 8-1-1 before you dig.  Texas811 will send a technician to mark the location of underground utility lines. The confirmation number from your call must be included on the Permit Information Form prior to submitting.

  • Special Activity Permit and Event Street Closure
    Due to time constraints, street closure applications must be entirely complete at time of application, i.e. proof of insurance with the City of Lockhart as an additional insured, a traffic control plan by a professional barricade company sign off by residents, etc.
    Hay Ride Permit Application
    This application must be filed with the chief of police no later than 48 hours prior to the start of this activity. If you have any questions, please contact the Lockhart Police Department at 512- 398-4401.
