LOCKHART POLICE: Duty, Honor, Community

Do you have what it takes to join the ranks of the LPD? The Lockhart Police Department is community focused and operates with honor and respect to our citizens. We are looking for local individuals who are duty driven and are career oriented.

   October 17th, 2020 we are hosting a free career workshop for Lockhart area individuals wishing to start a career in law enforcement. There will be several speakers to talk about how we can help you achieve that goal.

The topics of the day will include:

What Law Enforcement really is about/like

What Lockhart Police has to offer

How to join or prepare early (targeted for 18-20 year olds)

Police Academy

Family Life and Support

Community Oriented Policing

Testing and Physical Requirements Preparation

Background and Oral Board Preparation

DATE & TIME: OCTOBER 17th, 2020 FROM 9AM-1PM

REQUIREMENTS: MUST BE 18-44 YEARS OF AGE. YOU MUST SIGN UP IN ADVANCE OF EVENT. MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES. THERE WILL BE A PRESCREENING FOR COVID PRIOR TO ENTRY. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU ARE EXHIBITING ANY SIGNS OF ILLNESS.
