Street Lights & Customer Lighting
The Street Light and Customer Lighting Programs benefit the Lockhart citizens by providing a safer, well-lit environment that reduces the chance of theft and vandalism. Street lights are installed, maintained and paid for by the City of Lockhart.
Security lights may be installed for a small fee and maintained for a monthly charge.
Customers may pay the installation costs in up to three installments, to be added to the monthly utility bill. The customer must request and sign an installment letter to be provided by the utilities department.
Fixed Monthly Rate
Customer lights will not be installed in back yards or hard to get to places. These lights operate on a photocell and should be on all hours of darkness. If you notice a light out or a light burning during the daylight hours please contact our Electric Service Department or call 512-398-6117.
