Annual Operating Budget, FY 2021-2022: Council members adopted the City’s $38.6M Budget for FY 2021-2022. The new budget goes into effect October 1, 2021 and ends September 30, 2022.

Eligible city employees include those who were involved in regular in-person interactions and regular physical handling of items that were also handled by others. Eligible full-time city employees will receive a one-time payment of $1,000 and while part-time employees will receive $500. Councilmembers expressed appreciation to City Staff who worked to ensure continuous operations in that time period.

Colorado St. from a Residential Low-Density District to Commercial Heavy Business District to support food preparation for off-site sales of products associated with the adjacent new restaurant.

COVID-19 Update: Councilmembers agreed to require event organizers to prepare COVID-19 safety and communication plans for City staff and the local health officer. Those events include the Hill Country BBQ cookoff, Evening with the Authors, National Night Out, Speaking of the Dead, Courthouse Nights, and Dickens.
