Virtual Tree of AngelsĀ® 2021 remembers nearly 230 loved ones this holiday season
12/06/2021

Since 2003, The Lockhart Police Department’s Victim Assistance Team has participated in the Tree of Angels® program. It provides a reverent forum for the community to remember and support those who have lost loved ones in traumatic events and in violent crimes through the addition of special angel ornaments to a Christmas tree—set up at Lockhart City Hall and Luling City Hall-- and a ceremony. **DISCLAIMER: If you don’t see your loved one’s name in this list and you submitted an angel dedicated to them, please contact Tina Ramsey with LPD’s Victims Services at (512) 398-4401 ext. 5.

Even though the ceremony is virtual, the public is still invited to add their loved one’s name to the tree with a special, non-breakable angel. Please contact LPD Victim Services by calling (512) 398-4401, ext. 5. Angel ornaments from previous years will be included in this year’s tree.

The Tree of Angels® will be set up at Lockhart City Hall and Luling City Hall until January 2, 2022. A special ‘thank you’ to the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office, and the Luling Police Department for helping make this year’s Tree of Angels® possible.
