A zoning change request and a proposed parklet ordinance were discussed in last night’s Special City Council Meeting.
Zoning Change: City Council accepted Jim Meredith’s zoning change request—on behalf of Terry Kelley—from Residential Medium Density and Agricultural Open to Planned Development District for the Kelley Villas on the 16.17-acre property on 1712 W. San Antonio St./SH-142. The applicant intends to develop the area to make way for 80 duplex condominiums, which consists of 160 dwelling units.
Parklet Ordinance: City Council voted to discontinue the current temporary parklet program and not pursue a permanent program.
