Parks & Recreation Department
The Parks and Recreation Department maintains all nine parks in Lockhart, totaling 136.45 acres. Our services include mowing, tree trimming, litter pick-up, watering, and building maintenance. The City Parks department also maintains the city cemeteries and preforms ground maintenance for the public buildings.

We have many activities in our various parks such as play scape equipment, picnic tables, ball fields, and a public swimming pool. The swimming pool and sheltered areas in the city park are available for rent for those interested in private parties.

 City Park/Pool:  504 East City Park Road
 Lockhart Youth Sports Complex:  700 North Carver
 Lockhart Maple Street Park/Soccer Field:  1507 Maple Street
 Maple Street Park-South:  1508 Maple Street
 Lion's Park:  400 South Colorado (across from HEB)
 Santos Arredondo Park:  317 North Commerce
 Navarro Springs Park:  800 North Blanco
 Nueces Park:  315 Nueces
 North Pecos Park:  831 North Pecos
 Ed Braun Park:  310 Summerside Ave.


Schools and various neighborhoods and parks are linked by a system of concrete paths called the "Lockhart Springs Walkway." Click the following link to view a detailed map showing the locations of the Lockhart Springs Walkway.
