Due to staffing shortage caused by COVID-19, the Lockhart Animal Shelter will be closed to the public today, June 21, and tomorrow, June 22. The facility is anticipated to reopen to the public on Thursday, June 23.
While the shelter is closed to the public, the facility will remain staffed and day-to-day care for shelter animals will continue, which includes feeding and watering both dogs and cats.
