The first Public Workshop on the City's Comprehensive Plan has been scheduled for Monday, October 16, 2023, 7-8:30 p.m. at the First Lockhart Baptist Church Connection Center (200 S. Blanco St.). The workshop will give the community the opportunity to provide feedback on the Plan's land use and growth planning.
The City's current Comprehensive Plan was drafted in 2000. The updated Plan--once adopted by City Council--will serve as a guide for policy decisions relating to the physical development of Lockhart in the next 20 years.
